Missionary Application

This application is an act of discernment — take your time with it. Short, honest answers serve you better than polished ones. After you submit, we'll email you instructions for the required attachments: a spiritual autobiography (2–3 pages), your resume, a one-minute video introduction, an APEST self-assessment, and a background check authorization.

Reflect on discernment, prayer, and any spiritual direction you've received.

Consider the 50/30/20 structure, parish-based residency, leader formation, accompaniment, and sustainability.

DCM's formation is rooted in the theology of accompaniment. Show your understanding of relational ministry.

Section 3 — Ministry Experience & Competencies

Include roles, responsibilities, and outcomes.

What did you learn about patience, presence, and the work of the Holy Spirit?

Examples: leadership, communication, small-group facilitation, hospitality, administration, prayer leadership, teaching.

Examples: conflict navigation, pastoral boundaries, evangelization skills, theological depth, team leadership.
